Hello my friends,
So sorry it has been a while since my last letter. So much has happened in the last few months, it truly has been a bit crazy. During our visit to Michigan, this past summer, I sensed God was saying that it was time for something new. But what that looked like exactly, I had no idea. So back to Hawaii we went, and back to the cafe I continued to serve. During this time, God just kept drawing me closer to him, and he began giving me more pieces to the puzzle. Little words here and there. He likes to keep me on my toes :) To share the whole story, this would be more of a book, and not a letter, so I will keep it brief. The words that really spoke the loudest over the past few months were Isaiah 43:18-19 ” Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” Okay, there was no ignoring this one. It was time. The week that this all began to unfold, a friend, and regular to the cafe, kept asking me if I was going to staff a DTS ( Discipleship Training School ), and I kept saying no. Then I thought about it, could this be the “New Thing” that God is talking about? Guess what, It was!! 24 hours, and alot of prayer later, I was DTS staff. Crazy!! God even brought 2 amazing women to take on my responsibilities at the cafe. So you may be asking yourself, “what does all of this mean?” So here is low down…

****** The Students - Around 60 Students, 18 years and older, from all over the world.
****** The First 3 Months - Getting to know God, and learning about his love and purpose for us.
****** The Next 3 Months - Transforming lives all over the world by igniting hearts with his love.
Israel, New York City, Cape Town South Africa, Sweden, Finland and Amsterdam.
So we are in week 5 of this adventure, and Gods fingerprints are all over us. He is so Good and so Faithful. I, with Brody by my side, will be co-leading a team of 9 amazing students to Amsterdam. We will be partnering with the YWAM base there. Spending much time in the house of prayer located in the heart of the red light district. And then just hanging in the City with Jesus, loving and serving as the Spirit leads.
